Guter Tag die klienen Tauben,
Apologies for our lack of correspondence. We have had our grubby hands full with funding applications and general obscure experiments involving fake limbs, russian radio, elvis masks and all things of this sort. However as promised it is Das Boyfriend's new New Year's resolution (2months into the year) to get on it with this whole blogging malarky. As an out and out rubbish technologist, this is a struggle.

This post is going to be a bit of a mis mash of stimuli we are exploring just to give you an overall bizarre experience of possible things to come, so please forgive us.

And we have a spectacular spectacle of a fundraiser for your eyes, and other peoples eyes (the more eyes the better..) in the form of a Funny Folk (SU comedy night run by Das Boyfriend's funny-man's man Ian) Das boyfriend collaboration. There is a link to this on the Das Boyfriend Facebook group.

Guter Nachmittag Alle,

Lunch has been scoffed and the day is halfway over, so it seems as good a time as any to introduce ourselves.

We are Das Boyfriend, a South East London based theatre collective. Our aim is to make theatre that is brighter, lighter, nicer and tighter than a Saturday afternoon picnic (in Peckham). We all come from completely different creative backgrounds, including puppetry, live art, media, visual arts, set design, creative writing, physical theatre and, not forgetting, our AWARD WINNING COMEDIAN.

We're Currently starting work on our new piece.. we shan't give too much away at this early stage but we can almost guarantee it will probably be better than daytime television. Except Jeremy Kyle.

Aside from bourgeois brainstorming pizza parties, we're spending most of our time sorting out our proposal for the Ideas Tap Funding. For anyone thats not aware of it, Ideas Tap is an organization that gives funding to young people living in London with creative ideas. They give humble collectives such as ourselves the chance to create some magic. We're very excited about everything we have planned, so get ready for a plethora of multi-media mayhem.
